Pioneer is pleased to welcome Daniel Gordan as our new Pastor for Administration! Pastor Gordan is a Seventh-day Adventist minister, educator, and former corporate marketing executive with more than 29 years of combined experience in pastoral ministry, higher education, organizational leadership, and business. Before entering full-time ministry, he held marketing leadership positions in Ukraine, managing teams, budgets, strategic planning, and institutional marketing. Daniel comes to Pioneer after serving most recently as the Senior Pastor of the Village Church in Berrien Springs. Since 2000, he has served in pastoral and administrative roles in Ukraine and the United States, including pastoral leadership, Jewish outreach, church administration, and staff supervision.
Daniel has extensive teaching experience at the university and seminary levels, including Biblical Hebrew, Greek, Research Methods, and Biblical Studies. He holds a PhD in Religion with a concentration in Old Testament and a cognate in New Testament from Andrews University, as well as an MDiv and graduate and undergraduate degrees in Marketing. He also holds a BA in Painting and Teaching.
His academic and research interests include Biblical Hebrew and Greek, the Pentateuch, Wisdom Literature, and Old Testament backgrounds. His ministry and scholarship are united by a desire to serve Christ, strengthen the church, communicate the biblical message faithfully, and help others encounter Scripture in meaningful ways.
Daniel and his wife, Rebekah, are proud parents of two sons, David and Aaron.
