Offering for October 7, 2023

Pioneer Operating Budget

Some parents hand their young child something to put in the offering. When does that stop?

I want you to think about what you are giving and the reason you’re giving it. Some of you may have already given your tithes and offerings this month, or maybe you give online, so you aren’t giving anything during the church service. Thank you for returning your tithe and offerings. But… Let me ask two questions:

1. What are you giving?
2. Why are you giving it?

If we don’t examine and understand what we do and why we do it, it really is meaningless. God knows our motives though, and He can read what is in our hearts. I hope you are giving because you love Him and are thankful for how He has provided for you in so many ways. Gratitude is the only motivation for giving that means anything.

Thank you for giving with a grateful heart today.

Something In Common Sabbath School

Me and My Big Mouth series by Andy Stanley

Ever said something you wish you could take back? Even if what you said was true, those words may have cost you a job, reputation, or even relationship.

The longer we listen, the more we learn, and the better chance we have of protecting ourselves from our own big mouths. In all our conversations, what if we didn’t aim to be right, but tried to make things right instead?

  1.  October 7–Quick to Listen
  2. October 14–Untamable
  3. October 21–According to Code
  4. October 28–Right Where You Want ‘Em

Everyone is welcome to join us from 10:30-11:30 Sabbath mornings in Room 141.

Pathfinder Fruit Fundraiser

Pioneer's Evergreen Pathfinder club invites you to support their participation in the upcoming International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette, Wyoming, August 5-11, 2024. To raise the needed funds, they are partnering with Florida Indian River Groves to bring you fresh fruit. Fruit is harvested the very same day it ships to ensure that you receive fruit that is hours off of the tree. Now that's fresh! This year, the fundraiser will run from September 25 through November 10. Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks! And don't forget your friends, family, and coworkers. Everyone loves fresh fruit from Florida; and you'll be supporting our Pathfinder club at the same time! Thank you for supporting the Pioneer Evergreens!

Quick Facts:

  • Each Pathfinder must raise $950.
  • Pioneer has approximately 100 Pathfinders in its club.
  • You can help cut the individual costs for our club by starting an order today!

Please spread the word by sharing our website. Thank you in advance for your support - and enjoy the fresh fruit!

If you miss the deadline for ordering fruit, you can also give directly to the Evergreen Pathfinder Club. Select "PMC Pathfinder Club" from the "Local Offering" categories.
