Offering for June 21, 2025

Pioneer Operating Budget

One of the most exciting passages I have discovered is found in Malachi. It says, “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it’” (Malachi 3:10, NKJV).

God wants us to test and prove Him now by returning faithfully our tithes and giving our freewill offerings. We live in a world that says our hearts will be glad the more we get, the more we hoard and keep. God says, “No. I have designed your heart to be glad when you give.” Now this is the heart of God!

What God promises is that He will open wide the windows of heaven to pour out all His blessings. Wow! Can you imagine this? His blessings may be spiritual, emotional, and/or physical blessings! It will be overflowing.

But remember, we give not to receive God’s blessings, but in response to His love for us and to receive His heart. Today, let’s try God and bring our tithes and offerings into His storehouse so we can witness how He will perform miracles in our lives.

"Speed Friending" and Dulcimer Concert

The Family Life Committee invites our church family to get to know each other better! We will begin with "speed friending," where we will rotate to different tables around the room to ask each other questions (sample questions will be provided). Then we'll eat a light meal together and end with a captivating hammered dulcimer concert. Ted Yoder will be sharing an eclectic set of impressive originals, fun pop songs, and moving hymns. Sunday, June 29, 4:00-6:30 PM, Pioneer Commons. Registration information will be coming soon.

Young adults

Every week, the Pioneer Church serves breakfast to young adults and professionals. If you'd like to help, consider cooking, donating baked goods, or assisting with clean-up. We welcome monetary donations and active support to help young adults navigate their future decisions. For more information or to get involved, please get in touch with Peggy Reed-Schnepp at 269-815-2101. Text messages are answered the quickest. Thank you!
