The Family Life Committee invites our Pioneer family to join us for the annual hayride at Five Pines Ministries on Sunday, October 13 at 6-8pm. Hayrides through the autumn woods, yummy refreshments, a toasty campfire, and warm fellowship are all included in this fun tradition. We hope to see you there!

The St Johns Seventh-day Adventist Church is a vibrant and growing congregation, regularly welcoming 40-50 members and visitors each Sabbath. They actively serve the community by offering a complimentary breakfast every Sabbath, operating an Adventist Community Service Center, and engaging in annual evangelism efforts.

During mid-2023, the members realized their church roof, which was over 25 years old, was leaking and might need to be completely replaced. A completely new roof was beyond the means the church had available. To assist with the cost of the potential repair, they applied for help from MAP. By God’s grace, and further investigation, they discovered the leaking was isolated to the church steeple. Praise the Lord, the estimate for removing the steeple and repairing the roof was significantly less than a total roof replacement. With heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable support received from MAP, the repairs have been completed so the church can continue its vital work in the St. Johns community. The St. Johns church wholeheartdedly acknowledges the pivotal role played by MAP in the steeple removal and roof repair. And it is the faithful gifts given throughout Michigan that makes this assistance possible.

Oasis Public School Ministry provides a safe community for real talk, good food, fun activities, and building relationships between students, leaders, and God. This ministry is open to public school students in grades 7-12 and meets Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 PM

The RMES Home & School Team is hosting a bike-a-thon / walk-a-thon fundraiser for Ruth Murdoch Elementary School on Sunday, October 20, 2023. 90% of the proceeds will go towards much needed capital improvements such as the carpet upgrade project and 10% will be used for future Home & School events. We pray this year’s fundraiser will exceed the $11,000 raised last year. Some students at RMES may not know many people in our community and will be looking for sponsors.
