We hope you are able to join us (9:00/11:45 AM) on Livestream this Sabbath for our summer online celebration of communion. In April we celebrated an Agape Feast together. But this Sabbath we will participate with actual emblems of bread and wine. If you requested communion kits, you should have received an email with instructions for picking them up. (There are also gluten-free kits available.) Those who are a part of Norita Lachica's Homebound Ministry will receive their kits from her team. If you'd like the adventure of baking your own unleavened bread, here's a recipe.
But how are we celebrating foot washing? We're inviting every worshiper and family to experience Jesus' example in John 13 by washing each other's feet there at home. If you would like someone with whom to share this foot washing, you may either invite a friend to join you or, please call Claudia Sowler (471-3134). Why not make this foot washing a part of our Friday evening worship as we gather to welcome the Lord of the Sabbath into our homes at sundown.
Then Sabbath morning through music (as we hum along), prayer and the Word ("A Brave New World: Picking the Lock of the Lockdown"), let's throw wide our hearts to Him we love to worship. "Do this in remembrance of Me" (Luke 22:19).
