Offering

Coming: "A time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation" (Daniel 12:1). Very popular literal interpretations of Bible prophecy are setting up millions for an unexpected, satanic ambush. Which could have enormous implications for everything from setting national policy to making personal decisions.

More In This Series

09/02/2006
Rumors from the East, the finale of the great cosmic war that plays out in every heart. The increasing intensification of the battle is reason enough to ally with Michael. Whenever He shows up in Scripture, guess who wins!
09/09/2006
The first rumor from the east heralds good news for earth's darkest hour. While the Sonrise it anticipates lies dead ahead, can we afford to wait for it?
09/16/2006
If you want to define God's glory, you must look into His face which He revealed in a Story. The glory of God is in the Story . . . and the story. It's the law of mirrors.
09/30/2006
Does Islam, with its 1.4 billion adherents, have a place in Bible prophecy? Might God have used Mohammed and his Muslim followers to protect and advance the development of his kingdom? And could He possibly be doing so still today?
10/14/2006
Clues for the second rumor from the east: winds, seal, forehead, name, time, U.S.A. Today. The perfect rumor for a rest-less society.
10/21/2006
The second rumor engages the creation/evolution debate. Revelation predicts that there will be a generation that will refuse to take the hand of a skeleton and will take the hand of the Creator.
10/28/2006
The third and final rumor from the east has a rich legacy in biblical history and prophecy. It's the scariest rumor of them all, but also the best, striking panic in the hearts of some, hope in the hearts of others.
11/11/2006
The sinister "King of the North" (a metaphor Daniel uses to describe a succession of earth powers that oppress God's people) makes an all-out, final attack precipitated by rumors from the east. Not a study for the faint hearted, unless you want to know what's coming and how to be prepared.

Michigan Advance Partners

The COVID-19 pandemic caused thousands of deaths around the world and made people rethink their purpose in life. We’ve all been affected by this. Recent wars displaced millions from their homes creating major cultural, political, and population shifts. These crises created openness in spiritual things.

People are searching for meaning and peace. They’re hungry to make sense out of all the chaos in the world. Churches in our conference can be that haven and point of contact for people to hear about Jesus.

Offerings collected monthly for Michigan Advance Partners give opportunities for ministries in all churches to be funded so it can plant seeds of hope and love. Now is the time to invest in God’s work. Why not ask God for bigger requests so He can bless us abundantly? We don’t need to wait until we have more to give more. We can flex our faith in God now.

Note the promise, "The time has come when we are to expect large blessings from the Lord. We must rise to a higher standard on the subject of faith... The Word of God is our endorsement. We must take it, simply believing every word. With this assurance we may claim large things, and according to our faith it will be unto us” (That I May Know Him, p. 226). Today, let’s lay all on the altar and give our all to God.

“Prophecy is fast fulfilling. More, much more, should be said about these tremendously important subjects. The day is at hand when the destiny of every soul will be fixed forever. This day of the Lord hastens on apace. . . . Great pains should be taken to keep this subject before the people. The solemn fact is to be kept not only before the people of the world, but before our own churches also, that the day of the Lord will come suddenly, unexpectedly. The fearful warning of the prophecy is addressed to every soul. Let no one feel that he is secure from the danger of being surprised. Let no one's interpretation of prophecy rob you of the conviction of the knowledge of events which show that this great event is near at hand.” (Fundamentals of Christian Education 335)
