We look forward to the second coming of Christ; but do we also look forward to the second coming of the Holy Spirit? Are you preparing for a downpour?

The Bible teaches that the second coming of Christ will be very visible. Can the second coming of the Holy Spirit be what is meant by "Coming as a thief in the night?"

It's a truly fascinating piece of apocalyptic drama. High adventure, depicting four angels, four winds and a final seal. The seal? What could it possibly mean to the 21st century?

Some things never change. Which is why at the very hour that God is preparing to set the world ablaze one last time with His reviving glory, the mastermind that has always attempted to mimic the divine is subtly laying down beside the genuine his own dark counterfeit. It looks real. Come see.

Oil in lamps sounds so foreign to our modern day lives. What's the relevance to us today? And what about the ten virgins in that story, all of whom fell asleep?

Growing up I was taught at an early age to show respect and honor to God and country.

For example, I was taught to never put anything on top of the Bible, because the Word of God is holy; and to never to let the flag of our country touch the ground, because people have sacrificed their lives for the liberty of our country. When it comes to tithes and offerings, we should always honor God by giving to Him the first part of our income and blessings; not what’s left after we have paid the bills.

Jesus addressed the concerns of people today, “For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:32-33, NKJV).

The promise is that if we put Christ and His work first in everything, He will take care of all our needs. No need to be concerned about our food, clothing, or anything. God will surely come through and not only “add these things” but abundantly open the windows of heaven for us.
