Do We Believe Her or Don’t We?

Have you ever run across a comment by Ellen G. White that you’re unsure what to do with? The question in the title of this blog focuses on what we do (or don’t) with some of what she wrote. Do we…or don’t we…believe her? 

Back on January 27, 1890, The “Signs of the Times” published an article she authored titled “The Most Effective Agent for God”. It’s kind of a long paragraph, yet it makes a really good point.

"Speed Friending" and Dulcimer Concert

The Family Life Committee invites our church family to get to know each other better! We will begin with "speed friending," where we will rotate to different tables around the room to ask each other questions (sample questions will be provided). Then we'll eat a light meal together and end with a captivating hammered dulcimer concert. Ted Yoder will be sharing an eclectic set of impressive originals, fun pop songs, and moving hymns. Adventist Seniors of Michiana Meeting June 8

Seniors 55 and up are invited to join the Adventist Seniors of Michiana meeting on Sunday, June 8, for a feast for the eyes as well as a good meal. Daniel Weber, Chair of the Department of Film and Communication at Andrews, will inspire and delight us with "Thousands of of Pictures, Thousands of Stories from around the world: Looking through the lens of a photographer”. Come with a dish to share at the potluck starting at 1:00 PM in the Village Church Fellowship Hall. Call Cheryl Doss at 269-277-0767 with any questions.

Reflections on Redemption: A Call to See Beneath the Surface

A good idea is worth making your own. Years ago, I saw an image similar to the one in this post and thought I should create my own. Upon seeing it, I immediately thought of this famous verse. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”(Revelation 13:8 KJV)
