The Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University will host a concert by Ukrainian artists on Monday, June 17, at 7 p.m. The concert is part of a 40-day U.S. tour that five Ukrainian professional musicians turned active-duty soldiers have led since May. They will be joined by several local guest artists for the program. Admission will be free for all guests, and there will be a free-will collection at the concert.
Pioneer members are encouraged to attend the Church Business Session which will be held in the Pioneer Commons, Tuesday, June 25 at 7:00 pm. The topics to be discussed and voted upon include the 2024-2025 budget.
Join the AU Department of Music voice students for their annual 'We Sing' Voice Vespers. This year marks the 10th year and features a tribute to the iconic singing duo 'Hale & Wilder'. Robert Hale and Dean Wilder sang over 4,000 sacred concerts. The voice
students and special guests will present selections from their repertoire. Marcelo Martins joins as a guest accompanist.
A Hymn-sing at The Old Rugged Cross Church is scheduled for July 20, Sabbath, at 4:00pm. The Old Rugged Cross Church is located at 61041 Vermont Street, Pokagon, MI 49047. Please bring your Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal. A free will offering will help to maintain this historic church where the hymn, “The Old Rugged Cross,” was introduced to the public by the composer.
