More In This Series

01/12/2008
There may not be a straight line connection between Richard Dawkins' best seller, "The God Delusion" and the day God was "refreshed," but by connecting the dots we might discover a vital purpose of one of God's greatest gifts to the human race.
01/19/2008
Comes the challenge of a young, atheistic-leaning mind, "if God is real, let this sermon series impress me!" Could it be that in a surprising twist God's gift of holy time addresses this deep-seated desire to know the ultimate truth?
02/02/2008
Put the fourth commandment, the pseudo science of astrology and a powerful emperor in a political blender and what to you get? The first Sunday law. But not the last!
03/01/2008
It was the clinching argument that won the day in court, but in God's eyes didn't change a thing. It's an argument still being advanced today, and with the same effect.
03/08/2008
How do you test worship or loyalty? The biblical precedent answers: very simply, highly visibly. So, while the Bible's description of the last battle will come to many as an unsuspecting surprise, the final test associated with it shouldn't.

Wind Symphony Spring Concert: Scenes of Summer

Scenes of Summer is the theme of the upcoming Wind Symphony Spring Concert. As the semester draws to an end, we begin to think about warmer days, celebrations and festivals, and for some students, going home. This concert celebrates all things summer, featuring pieces such as Summer Dances by Brian Balmages, As Summer Was Just Beginning by Larry Daehn, and the fun march, The Purple Carnival arranged by Frank Erickson. This concert is unique in that it features some of our student composers and conductors. The first half will feature pieces, two of which are world premiers, composed by our own university students. The second half will feature three of our student conductors. Join us for a fun evening where we feature our student composers, conductors, and performers on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 8:30 PM at the Howard Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at howard.andrews.edu.

Hope Channel International

Hope Channel International, Inc. Hope Channel International (HCI) is an Adventist global media network that offers programs on Christian living with a holistic focus on faith, health, relationships, and community. Hope Channel began broadcasting in North America in 2003. Today, Hope Channel is a global network with more than 80 channels broadcasting in over 100 languages. In December 2023, in response to the heightened sense of loneliness prevalent during the holiday season, Hope Channel International stepped forward with a heartfelt campaign to foster connections and address the epidemic of isolation in our society. At the heart of this initiative was a strategic billboard placement in the iconic Times Square in New York City. Positioned where an average of 330,000 people pass through daily, this strategic move amplifies Hope Channel’s reach to millions from diverse backgrounds.

Jesus quoted the following passage from Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; Because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted.” (NKJV).

Through this campaign in Times Square, New York City and all the different TV programs being shown 24/7, Hope Channel is truly preaching the good news to all the world. North American Division Stewardship Ministries
