Shane Anderson

Shane Anderson is the lead pastor of Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University.  His passions for ministry include; How to know Christ personally, Bible prophecy, and Christian apologetics.  He has written a book entitled, "How To Kill Adventist Education (And How To Give It A Fighting Chance!)", and has spoken frequently on that topic throughout North, Central, and South America as well as the Caribbean since 2009.  He is a columnist for the Adventist Review.  He and his wife Darlene have two daughters and have lived in Michigan since 2023.

Join the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable evening of music on THURSDAY, November 7, 2024, at 7:30 PM in the Howard Performing Arts Center. Under the direction of Marc Élysée, the first half will feature Brahms' lively Hungarian Dance No. 1 and the dazzling Piano Concerto No. 2 by Moszkowski, with Aiko Ayala as the featured piano soloist. The second half, led by graduate conducting student Earlon Cornwall, includes the majestic Jupiter from Holst's "The Planets" and Scenes of Jamaica, a work full of colors and delightful tunes by Andrew Marshall.
