Transforming This Generation
Pioneer Memorial Church is the Seventh-day Adventist church on the campus of Andrews University. Church is more than just a building; it's about people. Here at Pioneer we believe in helping transform this generation to be more like Jesus through 4 steps: Connect, Grow, Serve, Go.
Connect with God through Biblical teaching and inspiring worship. Pioneer Memorial Church represents more than 200 countries. No matter where you're from, you're welcome here. Our first service begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday mornings where you can enjoy great hymns of faith led by organ. Our second service begins at 11:45 AM and features a more contemporary worship experience, led by Andrews University students. Whether you’ve grown up in church, or you’ve never been to church before, we’re confident you’ll feel welcome here.
Grow in your relationship with God and others. Join a Grow Group to help you get to know other people, be involved, and grow deeper in your relationship with God. These groups, covering a wide variety of interests, begin three times a year and usually meet for ten weeks. Grow Groups remind us that we grow better together. Transforming this generation will take all of us practicing Christ-centered community and serving Him together.
We have volunteer teams that help you to serve the church and the neighborhood in a variety of ways. The best place to serve is where you’re using your God-given gifts, talents, and passions the most.
Our Go initiatives help to move you outside the church and into your world, through opportunities provided by our Grow Groups, local partnerships, and public outreach events to bring the world to Christ. Our Go Projects happen monthly during the the school year.
