The Collective

Hymneo fosters collaborative and creative worship experiences through the writing, composing, producing, releasing and disseminating of modern congregational worship songs that are birthed from a scriptural foundation and carry a distinct artistic depth in melody, lyric and instrumentation. Hymneo (him-nay-oh) originates as a Greek word, meaning to sing praises or hymns. In Psalm 96, the greatest hymnist to give melody to words wrote this invitation: "Sing to the Lord a new song... Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deed among all the peoples" (vs. 1, 3, NASB). Hymneo's mission is to uplift the gospel of Jesus Christ, foster collaboration between Adventist artists, and produce music that can be sung in a congregational setting.
