You Don't Have to Fake It

Pacheco Bustamante from Miami was having the time of his life. It was the perfect ruse. He drove an old Ford Crown Victoria (the last time you saw one of those it was a cop car). He found a blue light. And he stuck a BB gun pistol in his belt. Voila—he looked like a real live policeman.

Antidote for Karoshi

In Japan, the land of my birth, the public has been stunned with the number of deaths linked to its culture of notoriously long work hours.

Pathfinder Bible Experience

The final PBE meet of the year is happening today in the Chicago area. Your PMC team is gathered with over 75 teams from across the country, Canada,  and England, and are having their final  test this morning. Please pray that God's Spirit give them quick minds and peace, and that the blessing of God's word stay with these kids as they complete this year's journey. They have worked hard studying Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1 & 2 Timothy.

105 Years Ago Today

Nineteen year old Helen and her honeymooning groom, Dickinson Bishop, were as star struck as newly-weds could be. The two young adults from Dowagiac, Michigan, were setting sail on what at the time was the largest moving object on earth—the RMS Titanic. Boarding the maiden voyage of the four-stack luxury liner on the evening of April 12, 1912, in Cherbourg, France, the couple set sail for New York City embedded in the luxury of first-class cabin B-49.

Spreading Love

On this special Easter Sabbath, we’re excited for two GO: Projects being done in partnership with Lighthouse. At 3 PM a group will head to the Pine Ridge Nursing home in Stevensville to minister to the residents. Then at 3:30 PM we will go around the Berrien Springs community passing out carnations and a free gift to spread Easter joy. Both groups will meet by the green awning in front of the church.
