Love on the Move

Would you like to make a difference in our community? God's Hands 4 Kids has ways you can do that. GH4K loves the "True religion way to love the least of these" James 1:27. The Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner is being held on May 16 in a church in our community. We are working with the Berrien County Department of Health and Human Services to put this on.  We are looking for childcare help. Also seeking gift baskets, gifts or gift cards.

Pets

This past Sabbath afternoon I attended the memorial service for Bruce Wrenn. What impressed me the most was what our co-head elder, Bryan Von Dorpowski had to say about his friend, Bruce. He became noted as one of the very top specialists in marketing. As I listened I started comparing myself to Bruce. I kept asking myself, “What’s your excuse?” Thankfully my life isn’t over yet, so there is time for me to make a difference in my world, even as Bruce made a difference in his world.

Telling the Andrews University Story

On Saturday, April 19, 3:30 PM, at Mars Community Center, Michiana Adventist Forum will host an interview with Dr. Meredith Jones Gray, author of “As We Set Forth” (2002) and “Forward in Faith” (2024). Mars Community Center is located at 26-50 Sylvester Ave., Berrien Springs. Everyone is welcome.

Easter Lilies for Home Visitation Members

Help us show our home bound and assisted living members that we haven't forgotten them. This afternoon we have an Easter Lily to deliver to them. It just takes a few minutes, but a flower and prayer, puts a smile on their face every time they look at it. We will give you a card with their name and address on it.
