Spring Grow Group Leaders Wanted!

We’re looking for dedicated individuals who are excited to share their passions and grow their faith by leading small groups. Spring Grow Groups will meet February 5-April 29, 2023. If you’re interested in leading, please text LEAD to 269-281-2345 or visit

Update#2 for Renovate 2.0

So far in December, the Renovate 2.0 project and fundraising is as follows. The Project: Construction begins on Tuesday, December 27. All church entrances for Sabbath services will be open, however, the only entrance for the Youth Chapel will be the outside entrance closest to the Wellness Center and the small elevator at the awning entrance will be unavailable. Fundraising: As of this week, there is $264,157.00 that’s been given. (Thank You!) This amount includes the second portion of a $100,000 matching grant.

Holiday Office Hours

The Pioneer office will be closed on Friday & Monday – December 23 & 26, and Friday & Monday – December 30-January 2 for the holidays. We resume normal operating hours on December 27 and on January 3, 2023! Monday thru Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. We wish you a safe and blessed holiday season!

End of Year Giving

Thank you for your charitable giving in 2022! Sabbath, December 31 will be the last worship service to return your tithes and offerings. If you wish to mail your donation, please ensure it is postmarked by December 31 to be included in your 2022 tax-deductible receipts. Online contributions for 2022 will be accepted until 11:59 PM EST, December 31.

Have you been following the Percy Pig row across the pond in the United Kingdom? The Marks and Spencer department store chain has been offering Percy Pig “sweets” (candy) for Christmas. But buyers aren’t happy!

Dec 10 Groupe Francophone

The Groupe Francophone D’Andrews will host a French sabbath school at 10:30, a francophone worship service at 11:45, and a fellowship potluck at 1:30 on Sabbath, Dec 10 in the Seminary Chapel. All speakers, learners, and lovers of the French language are invited to attend. Please bring a dish to share for potluck as able. Fellowship Christmas Breakfast

Let’s gather before the main worship service for a Christmas breakfast potluck on Saturday morning, December 24 from 9:00 – 10:15 AM at the Pioneer Commons. Bring your favorite breakfast items.
A – G – bread, muffin, or pastries
H – P – breakfast casserole or hot/cold cereal
Q – Z – fruits
Pioneer will provide hot and cold drinks and nuts.

Garden Club Christmas Cookie Exchange Dec 11

The Berrien Springs Garden Club cordially invites you to attend our annual Christmas cookie exchange from 2-5pm on Sunday, December 11 at Love Creek Nature Center. Come learn tips and tricks from fellow local gardeners and share delicious bakery next to the festive fireplace. All ages and abilities welcome.

Celebrate Community Christmas and Live Nativity

Celebrate Community Christmas - Come experience a celebration of Christ's birth from 3-6 pm on Sunday, December 18 at the Student Activity Center in downtown Eau Claire located at 6295 West Main Street Eau Claire, MI. The event also features a FREE Live Nativity from 3:30 to 5:30 PM with live animals the kids can pet, FREE Hot Cider/Hot Chocolate, popcorn and cookies, FREE Christmas Ornament Craft for the Kids, FREE Christmas Music/Karaoke, FREE Photo Backdrops for Christmas Family Photos, Silent Auctions and a Christmas Market, and Blacksmithing Demonstration.
