Season of Thankfulness

We know that God loves a cheerful giver. Pioneer, you gave abundantly this year. The Pathfinders collected the generous donations of food and separated them into one hundred and forty boxes. We had piles of canned fruit, green beans, pasta, stuffing, applesauce, pumpkin pie filling, and many other delicious foods to gift to those in need. On Sabbath, November 19, over one hundred of our Pathfinders, leaders and parents separated and carefully packed each of these boxes. Then they were loaded into over fifty Pioneer church member's vehicles to be delivered.

Caring Hearts Pot Luck for Widows/Widowers

Sunday, December 3, the Berrien Springs Village Church will be hosting a potluck for all widows and widowers in the church fellowship hall at 1:30 PM. Bring a favorite vegetarian dish to pass and come relax among old and new friends. The DVD “Surviving the Holidays” will be shown.

Bring a Toy, Spread some joy.

In just a few weeks, on December 9, we will be having our annual Children’s Celebration of Christmas. This is the worship service every year where we bring a new unwrapped toy for a child up to age 16. These gifts will go to families in our community who are not able to purchase gifts. This is yet another way that Pioneer can be Love on the Move!
