The school year is starting soon and Pioneer is planning for a new season of Grow Groups to share with our community. Grow Groups are great opportunities to learn new skills and ideas, participate in active discipleship, and grow in community together!

Heritage Singers is a group of professional Christian musicians who have dedicated themselves to using their talents for Christ. Known and loved all over the world, these singers will thrill your hearts with their powerful testimony and unique vocal sound. It's time for fun and fellowship again, while we work to beautify the exterior of our Spiritual Home… Pioneer. Time to spruce it up before the new school year begins. We will meet at the parking lot end of the church to assign work areas. Pull out your tools, sharpen them up, and please put your name on them to identify them as belonging to you. They will be used as "community tools" during the work bee. Be sure to bring your own work gloves.

Pioneer cares about the health of our community and our congregation. We monitor the spread of COVID-19, especially the delta variant, closely.  Berrien County's level of transmission is now High, as classified by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  

In alignment with Andrews University (AU), masks are now required indoors at Pioneer, regardless of vaccination status (AU guidelines).

A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie Steele's life will be held this Thursday, August 5, at 6:00 PM in the Pioneer Memorial Youth Chapel. Visitation will take place at 5:30 PM.

Happy birthday, to Esther Tarangle who turns 97 on July 28! Her family is blessed to have her. To send wishes, please bring them to the Pioneer front office.

A reception will take place on the lawn in front of Pioneer (Campus Mall) immediately following the 11:45 AM service on August 28. We will serve cookies and lemonade to welcome the new students.  We hope you'll join us in welcoming the new students!

Andrews University is helping to support the SDA church members in southwest Madagascar who are currently experiencing severe drought and famine in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, you can provide food to those in desperate need.
