The church offices will be closed December 25 and 26 and will reopen December 27 at 9am

Howard Series Presents: Steve Green

As Steve Green celebrates 38 years in the Christian music industry, he remains amazed at God’s patience and encompassing love. Green has been able to communicate the gospel in almost 50 countries around the world, and looks forward to many more years with God’s grace and strength. “There are more songs to be written, more people who need to hear the glorious gospel of our Lord, and more communities that need to be redeemed for God’s glory.” Steve says.

Howard Series Presents: Canadian Brass

With five decades of performing under their belts, Canadian Brass continues to thrill audiences around the world. Their repertoire includes the works of Renaissance and Baroque masters, classical works, marches, holiday favorites, ragtime, Dixieland, Latin, jazz, Broadway and Christian music as well as popular songs and standards. They have transformed a previously neglected group of instruments with a limited repertoire into a versatile and vital ensemble that can play everything from Gabrieli to Gershwin!

Neighbor to Neighbor Pantry Fund

This year Neighbor To Neighbor has been challenged to keep their pantry fully stocked. Thanks to a combination of inflation, supply-chain disruptions and economically related issues, food prices have steadily risen since 2020. In full transparency, there is funding available. However it comes with strings attached and both the board and the conference supports N2N’s decision to abstain from applying for this funding.

BELONG Ministries Adopt-a-Student

Winter is coming and for many of our students these are the hardest months to get through without their families. You can help create a home away from home by joining our Belong Ministries Adopt-a-Student program. You'll build meaningful connections by hosting the student for a home cooked meal, surprising them with their favorite treats, and reminding them that they've been prayed for. The time commitment is at your discretion.

Tis the season… to be a Grinch?

I admit, I can be a little bit like the Grinch during the Christmas season. Ok, a lot like the Grinch. While I haven’t gone as far as to take down Christmas decorations, I’ve never been known to celebrate as the decorations go up. It’s a mixture of feelings between “too soon” and “oh, here it comes, again.” I don’t know whether this comes from my love for the Thanksgiving season or the trappings of the seemingly ever increasing hustle bustle that the Christmas season represents. The joy of the holiday season often seems to be replaced with stress and a hint of dread.
