Wind Symphony Spring Concert

The final concert of the 2017-2018 Andrews University Wind Symphony season features a number of classic works and transcriptions for band by European composers. Ranging from Fu˘cik’s classic Italian march "The Florentiner," the haunting mists of "The Engulfed Cathedral" by Claude Debussy, Norman Dello Joio’s imaginative "Scenes from 'The Louvre,'" to Hindemith’s epic "March from 'Symphonic Metamorphosis,'" you won’t want to miss this exciting presentation! Never Give Up

Winston Churchill is often misquoted with the admonition: Never give up, never, never, never give up. In fact what he actually stated in the early hours of World War 2 was, "Never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense" (www.quora.com/Why-did-Winston-Churchill-say-never-never-never-give-up). But the point is still well taken.
