Andrews Academy Luncheon for Senior Citizens

All ASM members and friends of Andrews Academy are invited to their annual Senior Citizens Dinner in the Academy Commons at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 29. The meal and the program are a gift from the academy. At the event, your donations to Christian Education will be greatly appreciated.

The Wooden Structure(s) on Ararat

ASM members and guests are invited to hear Dr. Randall Younker discuss his team's recent visit to Mt. Ararat and what they found, on February 12, at 1 PM. It's sure to be an exciting program. Bring some food and enjoy a potluck with your friends. Bring a new friend and invite them to join ASM for the remainder of the present term for only 1/2 of the annual dues.

Word has come that Andrea Luxton, President of Andrews University, is setting aside Wednesday, January 18, as a Day of Prayer for all three campuses (university, academy and elementary school). And certainly, Pioneer as the campus congregation will join in this collective calling on God.

Join Rich Aguilera in this exciting, family-friendly show as he teams up with his puppet friends to discover secrets of God’s creation and His love for you! Rich always keeps his audience on the edge of their seat with adventure, humor, surprises, and audience interaction, all while teaching Biblical truths about our Creator. The show will be utilizing a variety of bright and colorful puppets and props that will captivate the kids’ attention. There will be some audience interaction.

Twins in Time

You knew it would happen someday! But North Texas? Kali Jo and Cliff Scott were “great with child” (KJV) as they raced through town to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. Some things in life just can’t wait.

Mother Kali Jo was hurriedly wheeled off to the delivery room. And a few minutes later—just in time, as it turns out—the Scotts’ in utero fraternal twins were born into this life.

Pioneer Piloting Alive in Jesus Children's Sabbath School

We are excited to be one of 80 churches around the globe piloting the new Alive in Jesus Sabbath School curriculum for the first quarter of 2023. Our Kindergarten 5-6 Year, Primary Grade 3, and Junior Grade 5 Sabbath Schools are leading our pilot, fulling implementing, with parents and our volunteer teams providing research feedback. The Gracelink curriculum, developed 25+ years ago, will be replaced with new lessons for 0 to 18 years olds by 2025.

Update#2 for Renovate 2.0

So far in December, the Renovate 2.0 project and fundraising is as follows. The Project: Construction begins on Tuesday, December 27. All church entrances for Sabbath services will be open, however, the only entrance for the Youth Chapel will be the outside entrance closest to the Wellness Center and the small elevator at the awning entrance will be unavailable. Fundraising: As of this week, there is $264,157.00 that’s been given. (Thank You!) This amount includes the second portion of a $100,000 matching grant.
